Our dogwalkers club is a fun club!

The Lost Dogs' Home invites you to add an exciting new dimension to the experience of walking your dog.

Why not? It’s easy. Simply join our new on-line Dogwalkers Club and then log in weekly to record the distance walked with your canine companion during the week. By the way – there’s no joining fee!

Better still why not invite your doggy walking friends to join too? If a group of people and dogs are involved each member will have a real incentive to do his/her best – and that’s good for the health of both human and canine participants. There’s nothing like incentive to turn an effort into a game. We will also recognise and acknowledge local groups of dog walkers who want to give their club within our club its own name and identity.

If you would like to be strictly scientific about it we can supply you with a pedometer to record the distances as you walk. If you don’t want to do this, and can assess the distance you have walked that’s OK too. It’s up to you.

If you are reading this in a location outside Australia – no problem. We encourage dog walkers in any country to join our club – maybe we can change the name to Dogwalkers International if enough of our overseas friends join us.

That’s all there is to it for now. Later we will be developing status rewards and gradings for members, and responding to your suggestions as to club activities, competitions and the like. We may even develop a chat service so those members can swop stories and tips.

But first let’s get it off the ground. Join up right now and be a founder member!
